Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy

Course enrollments may be cancelled up to two weeks prior to the scheduled course. Notification must be provided by email to training@cala.ca. CALA Training allows laboratories to substitute attendees if the original registrant is unable to attend.

Course registration

Only the formal registrant of the course will review the materials presented and participate in the live virtual or self-paced course. If it is identified that additional participants are attending without officially registering, the organization will be contacted and charged the appropriate fee.

Course material

All course content is copyright of CALA (Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation.) Course manuals, exercises and other associated content may not be copied or scanned. For virtual training, the formal registrant is granted permission to print one copy of the course material for their own use.

Recording and Uploading

CALA Training prohibits the recording of any training using AI, Teams, Zoom, or any recording platform. CALA Training prohibits the entry of training content, including supplemental or referenced materials, and related CALA Training intellectual property (CALA Training IP) into any form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, such as ChatGPT, CoPilot or any other AI tool. Additionally, creating derivatives of CALA Training IP using AI is prohibited without express written permission from CALA.
